1st International Conference on Emerging Trends and Advances in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy (ETAEERE-2016) held at SMIT

ETAEERE 2016 was a globally engaged and academically significant conference initiated in 2015, aimed at providing a collaborative platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to present and exchange innovative ideas in engineering and technology. The conference attracted 459 research submissions from prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, VIT, MIT Manipal, international universities, research labs, and industry contributors including IBM, with participation spanning over 91 countries and more than 21,000 website visits. Technically sponsored by Springer, the conference led to the publication of selected papers in four volumes of the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (indexed in EI and Scopus), supported by 14 editors, alongside an ISBN-indexed book of abstracts. Organized across three parallel tracks—Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, Power & Energy with Automation, and Electronics, Communication & Computing—the event emphasized research excellence through session-wise Best Paper Awards and prestigious Springer Best Paper recognitions. Additionally, ETAEERE 2016 aligned with national initiatives like “Make in India,” fostering innovation, global collaboration, and impactful research dissemination.
